Dustin is a native of northeastern Ohio, now residing with his family near Phoenix, Arizona. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Cross-Cultural Adult Education, then traded graduate studies in Theology for home-based studies in parenthood. He enjoys helping people become lifelong learners who are able to independently discover and pursue their own passions.
In January of 2016, Dustin had a spiritual and artistic breaking point while driving South on Rt. 87 near Happy Jack, AZ. After a decade of frustration at his own lack of artistic output, he rounded a bend in the road and came undone as the Mogollon Rim, in savage grandeur, came into view, tore open the sky, and poured poetry down into him. In less dramatic terms, he simply got over himself and started writing with great regularity. A couple hundred thousand words later, here we are.
